Malik Rabnawaz Noon (born March 10, 1947 – died June 6, 2010) was a famous Pakistani lawyer. He was a very important lawyer in the Supreme Court of Pakistan, which is the highest court in the country. He worked as a lawyer for over 40 years and was known as one of the best lawyers in Pakistan. He helped people with legal problems all over the country and even represented clients and Pakistan in other countries.
One of his well-known cases was related to the November 2008 Mumbai attacks. In this case, he worked as a prosecutor, which means he presented the case against the accused people in court.
Malik Rabnawaz Noon also held important positions in the legal community. In the late 1990s, he was the president of the Lahore High Court Bar Association (Rawalpindi Bench). He was also chosen to be a member of the Pakistan Bar Council in 2000, serving for five years until 2005. From 2000 to 2002, he was the Chairman Executive of the Pakistan Bar Council. He was planning to run for election again in 2010 but passed away before it happened.
He started his own law firm called Noon Law Company, which is now known as Malik Rabnawaz Noon Law Chamber. It became one of the top law firms in Pakistan. He completed his FA (which is similar to A-levels) from Gordon College Rawalpindi in 1966. After that, he earned his Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in 1968. He then studied law and received his LLB (law degree) and a master's degree in law from Punjab University Lahore. After finishing his studies, he began his career as a lawyer in Rawalpindi in the early 1970s.
Family Life
Malik Rabnawaz Noon had a family with two sons and two daughters. He was also a landlord in his village. This means he and his family owned a lot of the land in their local area.
Passing Away
Malik Rabnawaz Noon passed away on June 6, 2010. He was at a beautiful hill station called Murree, which is near Islamabad, when he had a heart attack. He was buried in his home village the next day, on June 7, 2010.
