Mamasa Regency is a special area, or "regency," located in the West Sulawesi Province of Indonesia. It's found on the big island of Sulawesi. The main town and capital of this regency is called Mamasa. In 2010, about 139,962 people lived here. The most common group of people living in Mamasa Regency are the Toraja people.
Sumarorong Airport
An airport was opened in Sumarorong in 2012. It had a runway that was 700 meters long. However, the airport stopped operating in 2016.
