Mandala, California facts for kids

Mandala was once a small community in Humboldt County, which is in the state of California. It was located about 13.5 miles (21.7 km) east of another place called Kneeland.

A post office was open in Mandala for a few years, from 1884 to 1888, though it closed briefly in 1887. The community of Mandala was named after Mandala Kneeland. She was the sister of the Kneeland brothers, who gave their name to the nearby town of Kneeland.
