Manel Loureiro was born in Pontevedra, Spain. This was on December 30, 1975. Before becoming a full-time writer, he had many interesting jobs.
He studied law at the University of Santiago de Compostela. After that, he worked as a lawyer for a while. He also worked in television. He was a presenter and a screenwriter.
Manel Loureiro also wrote for newspapers. He contributed to ABC and World. He also wrote for GQ magazine's Spanish edition. Some people have even called him the "Spanish Stephen King" because of his thrilling stories.

Apocalypse Z Series
Manel Loureiro's first novel was Apocalypse Z: The Beginning of the End. This book started as a popular blog online. It became a bestseller in many countries. These included Brazil, Italy, and Spain.
The book was translated into English in 2012. It was also translated into Galician. There have even been talks about making it into a movie!
Loureiro wrote two more books in this series:
