The Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame and Museum is a cool place in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. It's all about celebrating the amazing history and achievements of sports in Manitoba. Think of it as a special museum where you can learn about local sports heroes and their incredible journeys!
This organization started in 1980. Then, in 1993, a museum opened its doors at The Forks. After five years, the museum moved to The Bay store on Portage Avenue. Today, you can find it at the Sport Manitoba building (145 Pacific Ave.). Its grand opening there was on October 27, 2012.
Inside the museum, you'll find awesome exhibits. They show off Manitoba's best sports teams and the athletes who have been honored. The Hall of Fame celebrates both individual athletes and entire teams.

Who's in the Hall of Fame?
The Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame honors many talented people. These include athletes who played different sports. It also includes "Builders" who helped sports grow in Manitoba. Builders might be coaches, organizers, or people who worked hard behind the scenes.
There are over 300 athletes and more than 100 Builders in the Hall of Fame. Some people are even honored as both an athlete and a Builder!
