Manuel Benavides is a small town in the northern part of Mexico. It is located in the state of Chihuahua. This town is also the main center, or "seat," of the Municipality of Manuel Benavides.

Manuel Benavides is a special kind of town because it sits right on the U.S.-Mexico border. It is a rural area, meaning it's mostly countryside. Directly across the border, in the U.S. state of Texas, is the town of Redford. This makes Manuel Benavides a "bordertown."

In 2010, the town of Manuel Benavides had a population of 916 people. This was a big jump from 2005, when only 200 people lived there. This shows that the town has been growing!
