He used to be the keyboardist for the power metal band WarCry. Currently, he plays keyboards for the alternative/power metal band Sauze, which he helped create. Manuel Ramil started his musical journey by playing in different bands. These bands often changed their members.
Early Bands and First Recordings
In 1996, Manuel formed a heavy metal band called Torquemada. Just one year later, in 1997, they recorded their first music collection, an EP, titled Santa Inquisición. He stayed with Torquemada for almost six years. He left the band in September 2001.
Manuel also worked with other bands. He helped Thánatos by creating special introductions for their concerts. He also played on the debut album Tiempo by the band Trashnos.
Exploring New Sounds
During this time, Manuel started to explore different kinds of music. He became very interested in bands like Dream Theater, Angra, and Symphony X. In December 2001, he began a new music project called Fake Intermisión. This project focused on Progressive metal, a style of metal music that often has complex song structures. He continues to work on Fake Intermisión even today.
Joining WarCry
In July 2002, Manuel traveled to Lugones to try out for the band WarCry. He became their keyboard player and was a part of the band until early 2008.
