Manzanita is a friendly community located on Bainbridge Island, Washington. It sits right on the waterfront, on the west side of the island. You can find it along Manzanita Road NE and the eastern shore of Manzanita Bay, which includes a smaller area called Little Manzanita Bay.

Manzanita is known for its beautiful waterfront views. It stretches along the eastern edge of Manzanita Bay. This area is on the western side of Bainbridge Island. It offers stunning views, especially as the sun sets over the water.
A Home with Famous Connections
A very old house in Manzanita has an interesting history. This home was built in 1908. It is located on the northern shore of Little Manzanita Bay. Over the years, it was owned by some famous families. For example, a son of George Westinghouse once lived there. George Westinghouse was a famous inventor. Later, a son of Charles Lindbergh also owned the house. Charles Lindbergh was the first person to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean.
