The Church's Story
Building the Church
Work on the church building began in 1903. A local architect named Albert Edward Lambert designed it. The people who attended the church started using the building in October 1904. It cost about £3,191 to build back then. That was a lot of money at the time!
Modern Updates
In 2009, the church had a big makeover. This project cost £154,000. They added a lift to make it easier for everyone to get around. New toilets for people with disabilities were also installed. The church also got a new kitchen. Plus, a special hearing loop was put in to help people hear better during services.
