María Pérez García (born on April 29, 1996) is a famous Spanish race walker. She is known for her incredible speed and endurance in this sport. María has won many important medals and set new records.

In 2023, she won two gold medals at the World Championships in Budapest. She was first in both the 20 kilometers and 35 kilometers race walk events. She also earned a gold medal at the 2018 European Athletics Championships.

María Pérez holds the world record for the 35 kilometers race walk. She set this amazing record on May 21, 2023, in the Czech Republic. Her time was 2 hours, 37 minutes, and 15 seconds! She has also won seven Spanish national racewalking titles.
