Marc Angéle Vanderlinden (born on February 4, 1964) is a former Belgian professional footballer. He was known for playing as a striker, which means he was a player who mainly focused on scoring goals.
Marc started his football journey with his local team, SC Merksem. In 1982, he moved to Royal Antwerp FC, where he played for seven seasons. Later, he joined big clubs like R.S.C. Anderlecht and K.A.A. Gent. He even played in Israel for teams like Ironi Rishon LeZion and Maccabi Herzliya. Marc returned to his first club, Merksem, in 1997 and played until he retired in 2002. He also proudly represented the Belgium national football team 19 times, scoring nine goals, and even played in the 1990 FIFA World Cup.
