Marganell is a small town, also called a municipality, located in Catalonia, Spain. It's part of a region known as the comarca of Bages. Marganell is special because it sits on the northern side of the famous Montserrat mountain.

This town is sometimes known as Santa Cecília de Montserrat. This name comes from the old Benedictine monasteries found nearby, like Santa Cecília de Montserrat and the important Montserrat monastery.
