Margarita Esther Henríquez Rodríguez (born April 17, 1991) is a talented singer from Panama. She became famous after winning the third season of Latin American Idol. This big win happened on October 9, 2008.
Biography
Margarita Henríquez made history when she won Latin American Idol. She was the youngest person to ever win the show. Before her, only Carlos Peña had won from Panama. Margarita competed against many other singers. She beat María José Castillo to take home the top prize.
After her big win, Margarita released her first music album. It came out on December 1, 2008, with the Sony BMG music label. This album was a huge hit in her home country of Panama. It included six songs that she had performed during the TV show. One of her songs, "Vuela," became very popular. It was played a lot on Panamanian radio stations.
