Maria de la Salut is a small town and municipality. It is located in the center of Majorca, one of the Balearic Islands in Spain. The town is in the district of es pla. It shares borders with the towns of Llubí, Santa Margalida, Ariany, and Sineu.

A Look Back in Time: History of Maria de la Salut
The area where Maria de la Salut is located was once part of an Islamic district called Murūh. This was during the time of the Christian conquest of the island. Later, these lands became part of the Count of Empúries' territory.
Maria de la Salut became its own municipality in the 1800s. Before that, it was part of the larger area of Santa Margalida.
The region is known for its many large estates, often called "possessions." Some important ones include Roqueta, Deulosal, and Montblanc. Other well-known places are sa Bisbal, Son Gil, and Son Perot.
