Mariann Mayberry (born May 25, 1965 – died August 1, 2017) was an American actress. She was known for her work in television shows and on stage.

About Mariann Mayberry
In 1993, Mariann joined the Steppenwolf Theatre Company in Chicago, Illinois. This is a famous group of actors who work together on many plays. While at Steppenwolf, she was nominated for a special award called the Joseph Jefferson Award twice. These awards celebrate great acting in Chicago. She was recognized for her roles in plays like Time of My Life and Hysteria. The play Hysteria was directed by the well-known actor John Malkovich.
In 2006, Mariann married another actor, Scott Jaeck. They even acted together on Broadway in a play called August: Osage County. This play was very successful and won big awards like the Tony Award and the Pulitzer Prize.
Later Life and Passing
In 2013, Mariann found out she had ovarian cancer. In August 2015, after performing in a play called Grand Concourse, Mariann decided to stop acting on stage.
On August 1, 2017, Mariann passed away from ovarian cancer. She was 52 years old. She died at her sister's home in Simsbury, Connecticut. At that time, Mariann lived in New York with her husband, Scott Jaeck. To show their respect, the Steppenwolf Theatre cancelled their show on the night she passed away.
