Maritza Bustamante Abidar (born September 26, 1980) is a talented actress and model from Venezuela. She is well-known for her roles in many Venezuelan TV shows called telenovelas, especially those shown on the TV network Venevisión. Maritza also has a brother, Nelson Bustamante, who is an animator.
Maritza's Acting Career
Maritza Bustamante started her acting journey in the year 2000. She quickly became a familiar face on Venezuelan television, appearing in several popular telenovelas. These are like long TV dramas that tell a story over many episodes.
In 2010, Maritza signed a contract with Telemundo, a big Spanish-language TV network in the United States. Her first show with Telemundo was called Perro Amor. Later that same year, she played a villain in another telenovela, El fantasma de Elena.
Maritza continued to work with Telemundo, taking on different roles. In 2012, she was part of the show Relaciones Peligrosas, which was a new version of a Spanish TV series.
