Marja-Lewis Ryan is also the executive producer and showrunner for The L Word: Generation Q. This TV series is a follow-up to The L Word and started in December 2019.

Marja-Lewis Ryan was born in Brooklyn, New York. She studied at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. There, she earned an honors BFA degree. She focused on acting at The Atlantic Theatre Company's Acting School.
