There, she joined a famous comedy group called The Groundlings, which is known for training many successful comedians.

Jillian's Career Journey

Jillian auditioned for Saturday Night Live, a well-known sketch comedy show. Even though she didn't become a regular cast member, she was hired as a writer for the show in 2009 for its 35th season. That same year, she appeared in an episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm.

In 2011, Jillian started playing Jillian Belk in the Comedy Central TV series Workaholics. A famous film director named Paul Thomas Anderson saw her on the show. He was impressed and gave her a small role in his 2012 film The Master. She then had another small role in his 2014 film Inherent Vice.

Jillian also had a recurring role as Dixie in the fourth and final season of Eastbound & Down. In 2014, she appeared in the movie 22 Jump Street alongside actors Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum. In 2015, she co-starred in the films Goosebumps and The Night Before.

In January 2016, Comedy Central launched a new series called Idiotsitter. In this show, Jillian played Genevieve Russell, an adult daughter from a rich family who was always misbehaving. The show actually started as a web series in early 2014.
