Marko Kristian "Markoolio" Lehtosalo (born January 1, 1975) is a well-known Swedish-Finnish singer, musician, and comedian. He is also a talented songwriter and actor. His stage name, Markoolio, is a fun mix of his first name Marko and the name of the famous American rapper Coolio.

Markoolio's Early Life and Career
Marko was born in Lahti, Finland. When he was only six months old, his family moved to Sweden. He grew up in a small suburb of Stockholm called Orminge. After finishing his military service in Finland, he returned to Sweden. A story often told is that producers discovered him rapping on a train in Stockholm. However, this story was later revealed to be just a fun tale!
Markoolio's Music and TV Success
Markoolio started his music career in 1998. He quickly became very popular. He has released many studio albums and created lots of hit songs. His music often mixes pop and hip hop with funny lyrics.
Besides music, Markoolio has been a big star on TV and radio. He has hosted and appeared in many different shows. He even won "Male Artist of the Year" at the Swedish Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards in 2007.
Acting Roles and TV Shows
Markoolio has also shown his acting skills. He played the main character in the TV show Doktor Mugg. He also starred as Tyke Mörbult in another show called Hem till Midgård. In 2009, he was one of the hosts for the TV show Talang on TV4. This show is similar to America's Got Talent.
In 2013, Markoolio competed in Let's Dance 2013, a popular dancing competition. He danced with Cecilia Ehrling and actually won the entire contest!
A Funny Prank Before a Big Game
Markoolio is also known for his humor. On November 19, 2013, he tried a funny prank. He wanted to disturb the sleep of the Portugal national football team. This was before a big World Cup play-off game against Sweden. Markoolio started a "private concert" at 7:15 AM right in front of the Portuguese team's hotel! It was a playful way to support his home team.
