Playing in Bands
In the 1970s, Marlo was part of Stevie Wonder's backup band, called Wonderlove. He also played with the funk group Maxayn during the same time. In the early 1970s, he played on the We Got To Live Together Album by Buddy Miles. He even sang backing vocals on the song "Walking Down The Highway."
Later Years
In the late 1990s, Marlo helped produce the album Murmurs of the Heart. This album featured Roscoe Lee Browne.
Marlo Henderson's Legacy
Marlo Henderson passed away on October 25, 2015. He was 67 years old. He had been sick with cancer before he died.
His musical talent lives on through his family. His youngest son, Palo Roy Henderson, is a multi-instrumentalist. His grandson, Corwin Dewayne Henderson, is a producer and audio engineer known as Swiffy Beats. Marlo's granddaughter, Patience Henderson, is a singer, songwriter, and guitarist.
