Marmalade Atkins is known for being a wild and rebellious teenager. She first appeared on TV in 1981 in a special show called Marmalade Atkins in Space. This was part of a series called Theatre Box.

After her first TV appearance, Marmalade Atkins starred in two longer TV series. The first was Educating Marmalade, which had ten episodes and aired in 1982 and 1983.
