Marsilea crenata is a type of fern that grows in water. It is often found in places like Southeast Asia. This plant looks a lot like a four leaf clover, which is why it's sometimes called a "water clover."
You can find its leaves floating on top of deep water. But if the water is shallow, or if it's growing on land, its leaves will stand upright.
