Martha Phindile Mmola (died July 18, 2020) was a South African politician. She served as a representative in the National Council of Provinces from 2019 until her death in 2020. Before that, she was a member of the National Assembly of South Africa from 2014 to 2019.

Martha Mmola's Political Journey

Martha Mmola was an active member of the African National Congress (ANC). The ANC is a major political party in South Africa.

From 1998 to 1999, she worked as a branch secretary for the ANC. This was in Ward 19 of the Govan Mbeki Local Municipality. She also served as a branch chairperson from 1999 to 2000. She returned to her role as branch secretary from 2000 to 2001.

Serving in the National Assembly

In 2014, Martha Mmola became a member of the National Assembly of South Africa. This is like one of the main parts of the country's parliament. She took over from Tito Mboweni as a representative for the African National Congress.
