In 1993, they moved from Los Angeles to Connecticut. They divorced in 1997. The next year, Martin West met artist Ann Chernow. She was his partner until he passed away.
Martin West died on December 31, 2019. He was 82 years old. He passed away at Norwalk Hospital.
