Martinsburgh, California facts for kids
Martinsburgh was once a small town in Butte County, California, United States. It was located close to another place called Peachton. Martinsburgh had a post office that opened in 1865. It closed for a short time in 1866, then reopened in 1868. However, in 1870, the post office moved to a different town nearby called Gridley. This often happened when towns changed or new ones grew bigger.
