About Marussia Motors
The Marussia B1 car was first shown to the public on December 16, 2008. This special event happened in the new Manege hall in Moscow, Russia. Later, on September 10, 2010, the company opened its first special store, called a showroom, in Moscow. This was a place where people could go to see and learn about their cars.
Who Led Marussia?
The person in charge of Marussia Motors was Nikolay Fomenko. He was a famous former racing driver. His experience in racing helped the company create fast and cool sports cars.
Marussia and Formula One Racing
In 2010, Marussia Motors decided to get involved in the world of Formula One racing. They bought a racing team called Virgin Racing. This team was later renamed the Marussia F1 Team for the 2012 Formula One racing season. This showed how serious Marussia was about performance and speed.
