Mary Wiggins (February 10, 1904 – April 17, 1974) was a talented American musician. She was a composer, which means she wrote her own music. Mary also played the organ and piano, and she taught music to many students. She was born in Indiana, Pennsylvania.

Mary studied how to compose music at Carnegie-Mellon University. She learned from teachers like Roland Leich. She also had private lessons with Gladys W. Fisher and Harvey B. Gaul.

Mary's Musical Career

Mary Wiggins loved sharing her musical knowledge. She taught the organ at Schenley High School in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, from 1951 to 1957. Later, from 1959 to 1962, she taught piano both privately and at the Pittsburgh Musical Institute.

Her hard work and talent were recognized. In 1973, she received a special award from the National Federation of Music Clubs. Many of her musical pieces were published by G. Schirmer Inc., a well-known music publisher.
