Masahiro Ando (安藤 正裕, Ando Masahiro, born April 2, 1972) is a former Japanese football player. He played as a defender. Ando was also part of the Japanese national team.
Ando's Football Journey
Masahiro Ando started his professional football career in 1995. He played for several teams in Japan during his time as a player.
Playing for Clubs
Ando began his career with Shimizu S-Pulse. He played there from 1995 to 1999. After that, he joined Júbilo Iwata.
He also played for other well-known Japanese clubs. These included Yokohama F. Marinos and Gamba Osaka. He spent time on loan at these clubs.
A significant part of his career was with Omiya Ardija. He played for them in two different periods. He also had a loan spell at Vegalta Sendai and Kyoto Purple Sanga. Ando retired from playing professional football in 2005.
Playing for Japan
Masahiro Ando also had the honor of playing for his country. He played one match for the Japanese national team in 1999.
