Masahiro Endo (遠藤 昌浩, Endō Masahiro, born August 15, 1970) is a Japanese former professional football player. He was born in Tokyo, Japan. Masahiro Endo played as a left-back during his career. He also represented the Japan national team.
Club Journey
Masahiro Endo was born in Tokyo on August 15, 1970. After finishing his studies at Juntendo University, he joined Júbilo Iwata in 1993. At that time, the club was part of the Japan Football League.
In 1994, his team, Júbilo Iwata, finished second. This success helped them get promoted to the J1 League, which is Japan's top football league. Endo was a regular player for the team until 1995. After 1996, he played less often.
Later in his career, he played for several other Japanese clubs. These included Yokohama FC in 1999 and Verdy Kawasaki also in 1999. In 2000, he joined Shimizu S-Pulse.
In the year 2000, Masahiro Endo moved to Belgium. There, he played for two different teams: Mechelen and La Louvière. He finished his professional football career in 2002.
Playing for Japan
Masahiro Endo made his first appearance for the Japan national team on May 29, 1994. This match was against the French national team.
He was also chosen to play in the 1994 Asian Games. During this important tournament, he played every minute of all the matches. In total, he played eight games for Japan during 1994.
