Masaki Yamamoto (山本 真希, Yamamoto Masaki, born 24 August 1987 in Shizuoka prefecture) is a Japanese football player. He plays as a Midfielder. Currently, he is a part of the J1 League team Matsumoto Yamaga FC.

Masaki Yamamoto's Football Journey
Masaki Yamamoto started his football journey in the youth system of Shimizu S-Pulse. This means he trained and played with their younger teams. He worked his way up through the ranks. In 2006, he signed a full professional contract with Shimizu S-Pulse.
Playing for His Country
Yamamoto has also played for his country, Japan. He represented Japan at different youth levels. This includes playing for the Under 20 national team. However, he has not yet played for the main senior national team.
His Club Career Highlights
Masaki Yamamoto has played for several professional clubs in Japan. After leaving Shimizu S-Pulse in 2011, he joined Consadole Sapporo in 2012. From 2013 to 2015, he played for Kawasaki Frontale.
Later, he moved to JEF United Chiba in 2016. In 2019, he was loaned to Matsumoto Yamaga FC. He then returned to JEF United Chiba in 2020. Yamamoto has been a consistent player for his teams over the years.
