Masaru Kurotsu (黒津 勝, Kurotsu Masaru, born 20 August 1982) is a Japanese football player. He was born on August 20, 1982. He plays as a forward, which means he is a player who tries to score goals. Currently, he plays for J.FC Miyazaki.

Masaru Kurotsu's Football Journey

Masaru Kurotsu was born in Koga, Japan. After finishing high school, he started his professional football career in 2001. He joined Kawasaki Frontale, a team in the J2 League. The J2 League is Japan's second-highest football division.

Early Career and First Goal

Kurotsu made his first appearance for Kawasaki Frontale on August 25, 2002. He came into the game as a substitute and scored a winning goal just one minute later! This was a fantastic start to his career.

Rising with Kawasaki Frontale

In 2003, Kurotsu faced some challenges due to injuries. However, from 2004, he started playing more often, usually coming in as a substitute forward. That year, Kawasaki Frontale won the J2 League championship. This meant they were promoted to the J1 League, which is the top football league in Japan.

From 2005, Kurotsu played even more games. His team, Kawasaki Frontale, did very well in the J1 League. They finished in second place three times: in 2006, 2008, and 2009. This showed they were one of the best teams in Japan. Kurotsu was an important part of their success during these years.

Moving to New Teams

After many years with Kawasaki Frontale, Kurotsu moved to Yokohama FC in 2013. This team was also in the J2 League. He played many matches for Yokohama FC over three seasons.

In 2016, he joined Gainare Tottori, a club in the J3 League. The J3 League is another professional football division in Japan. In 2018, Kurotsu moved to J.FC Miyazaki, a team in the Japanese Regional Leagues. He has continued his football career there.

Throughout his career, Masaru Kurotsu has played in 278 league matches and scored 47 goals. He has also played in various cup competitions, showing his dedication to the sport.
