Masato Yamazaki was born in Kyoto, Japan, on December 4, 1981. He grew up loving football and became a professional player. He is known for playing as a striker, which means his main job on the field is to score goals.
Starting Out: University and Early Clubs
Masato Yamazaki began his football career playing for Kokushikan University from 2000 to 2003. This is where he developed his skills before joining professional teams.
After university, he joined Yokohama F. Marinos in 2004. This was his first big step into the top Japanese football league, known as the J1 League. He played for them for a couple of seasons.
Moving to New Teams
In 2005, Masato moved to Oita Trinita, another team in the J1 League. He spent three seasons there, gaining more experience and becoming a key player. He continued to show his talent as a forward.
