Massoud Achkar facts for kids
Massoud "Poussy" Achkar (1956 – 11 January 2021) was a Lebanese independent politician. He was a close advisor to President Bashir Gemayel.
Achkar was the co-founder the Lebanese Forces party. He was known as "Poussy". He was in charge of military operations in Achrafieh between 1975 and 1986, the 2009 Lebanese general election and the 2018 parliamentary elections.
Achkar died on 11 January 2021 in Beirut from COVID-19 during the COVID-19 pandemic in Lebanon, aged 64.
