MasterChef France is a popular French cooking competition TV show. It first aired on August 19, 2010, on the TF1 channel in France. The show was created by Shine France and TF1. It has had several seasons where amateur chefs compete to show off their cooking skills. The first presenter, Carole Rousseau, changed in 2013.
Michel Roux Jr, who was a judge on the original British MasterChef show, once said he thought the British version should be more exciting, like the French one.
