Match It was a fun Australian game show made just for kids! It first aired on the Seven Network on June 4, 2012. Later, it moved to 7TWO in 2013. The show was hosted by the energetic Jack Yabsley.

In Match It, two teams of primary school students competed. They used special touchscreen 'pods' to play. Their goal was to match pairs of clues. These clues could be flags, photos, faces, or words. The team that was the fastest and had the best memory won!

How to Play Match It

Each episode of Match It lasted about 30 minutes. It was packed with exciting rounds. Teams of Year Six students used cool touch-screen technology. It was like using a giant smartphone! They had to match multiple-choice answers to different questions.

Game Rounds

There were four main rounds in each show. These rounds tested different skills.

  • Four In Your Face
  • Tag Team
  • Sound Round
  • Flash-Match

The final round was called the Mega-Match. This was the most exciting part!

Winning the Game

The team that did best in the rounds got a chance to become the weekly winner. They played for the title of 'Match It' champion. The show also had a special finals week. The top eight teams from the series battled it out. The ultimate champions won a prize for their school!
