Matt and Jenny (also known as Matt and Jenny on the Wilderness Trail) is a Canadian TV show. It has 26 episodes, and each one is about 25 minutes long. The series first aired on Global on October 21, 1979.
The show was also made into French, called Les routes de l'amitié. It was shown in 1986 on La Chaîne française, a French educational channel in Ontario. Later, in 1982, the series was also shown in the United States on Nickelodeon. In 1979, Matt and Jenny won an award for Best Television Series from the Canadian Film and Television Association.

What is Matt and Jenny About?
The story follows two English children, Matt and Jenny Tanner. They leave Bristol, England, with their mother to travel to the New World. Sadly, during their long journey, their mother becomes sick with typhoid fever and passes away.
Matt and Jenny arrive in Canada all alone. Their main goal is to find their uncle, Bill Tanner. He had traveled to the New World before them. The series shows their adventures as they search for their uncle in the Canadian wilderness.
