Maurice Cardale Jeffers, born on April 3, 1979, is an American former professional basketball player. He played as a shooting guard and small forward. Maurice is 6 feet 5 inches tall and weighed around 210 pounds during his playing career. He was chosen by the Sacramento Kings in the 2001 NBA Draft. Even though he was drafted, he never played a game in the NBA.

High School Success
Maurice Jeffers was one of the best basketball players to come from Morrilton High School in Arkansas. He showed great talent from a young age.
College Career Highlights
After high school, Maurice went to Westark Junior College in Fort Smith, Arkansas. During his second year there (1998–1999), he was amazing on the court. He scored about 20 points and grabbed 9.5 rebounds per game. He also made 2 assists and 1.1 steals per game.
Later, he moved on to play college basketball at Saint Louis University. In his final year (2000–2001), he continued to shine. He averaged 16.0 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game. His best game that season was against the Louisville Cardinals on January 6, 2001. He scored 27 points, helping his team win 71–61.
Professional Journey
Drafted by the NBA
In 2001, Maurice Jeffers was picked in the second round of the 2001 NBA draft. The Sacramento Kings chose him as the 55th overall pick. However, he did not sign a contract with an NBA team. This meant he never got to play in the NBA.
Playing Around the World
Even though he didn't play in the NBA, Maurice had a long professional basketball career. He played for many different teams from 2001 to 2012. He played in various leagues, including teams like the Asheville Altitude and the Texas RimRockers in the United States.
He also played for several teams in Europe, showing his skills internationally. Some of these teams included Fribourg Olympic in Switzerland, CB Cornellà, Baloncesto León, CB L'Hospitalet, CE Lleida Bàsquet, and CB Breogán in Spain. He also played for the Gießen 46ers in Germany and Club Atlético Lanús in Argentina. Maurice Jeffers retired from professional basketball in 2012.
