Mauro Bellugi (born on 7 February 1950 – died on 20 February 2021) was a talented Italian footballer. He played as a defender, which means his main job was to stop the other team from scoring goals. Mauro Bellugi was also a proud member of the Italian national team from 1972 to 1980.

He even represented Italy in major tournaments like the 1974 FIFA World Cup and the 1978 FIFA World Cup. His Final Days

Sadly, Mauro Bellugi passed away in Milan, Italy, on 20 February 2021. He was 71 years old. His death was caused by COVID-19 during the COVID-19 pandemic in Italy. He died just thirteen days after his 71st birthday.
