Max Loong is a cool actor and TV host! He's known for his work in both Europe and Asia.

In 2007, a magazine called Schweizer Illustrierte in Switzerland said he was one of the top 100 most important and famous Swiss people. That same year, Elle Magazine Singapore gave him the 'Breakout Star of the Year' award.

You might know him as the host of Musicstar, which is like the Swiss version of American Idol. He also played the main character, Michael Wong, in a funny TV show from Singapore called First Class. This show was even nominated for an Emmy award!

Max's TV Adventures

When Max was 20, he beat over 400 other people to become a host for the first Swiss music channel, VIVA Schweiz. This was his very first job as a TV host!

He hosted many shows in Europe, like Fanta Fiesta, McMusic, FreaX (a game show), Popschau (a news show), and Sunrise (a late-night show). He even created his own popular live show called Interaktiv. On Interaktiv, he got to interview lots of famous stars, including Britney Spears, Mariah Carey, Usher, 50 Cent, Alicia Keys, Robert Downey Jr., and Pierce Brosnan. Imagine meeting all those amazing people!

Max also hosted shows for MTV Southeast Asia, such as "MTV Mobbed" Gamepad (another game show), Pop 10 (a music chart show), and Pop Inc. (a lifestyle show). He even covered the red carpet at the MTV Asia Awards in Bangkok, Thailand, in 2006.

In 2007, Max was chosen to host Musicstar, the popular singing competition in Switzerland, similar to American Idol. He also hosted other reality and entertainment shows like the S-Factor and Mitsubishi Challenge in 2008 and 2009. He returned to host the 4th season of MusicStar in 2009.

Max's Acting Roles

Max has also had a busy career as an actor. He even had a TV drama series named after him called Adventure Max. He appeared in the first two seasons of a French TV series called Deja Vu and other TV shows.

He landed a main role in an Asian comedy-drama series called After Hours, which ran for 13 episodes. Max also starred in Singapore's Emmy-nominated comedy series First Class (seasons 1 and 2). In this show, he played a young teacher at a very unusual school. In 2010, he also acted in a drama called Perfect Deception.
