Where is McCartys Village?
McCartys Village is located in the northern part of Cibola County. It sits in the valley of the Rio San Jose. This river flows east and joins another river called the Rio Puerco.
A road called Indian Service Route 30 goes right through the middle of the community. A major highway, Interstate 40, runs along the northwest side of McCartys Village. You can get to the village from Exit 96 on I-40.
An older, famous road, U.S. Route 66, also runs next to Interstate 40 near McCartys. The city of Grants, which is the main town in Cibola County, is about 12 miles northwest of McCartys Village.
