MNC Media, also known as PT Media Nusantara Citra Tbk or just MNC, is a big media company in Indonesia. They create and produce lots of different content. MNC owns and runs four free TV channels: RCTI, MNCTV, GTV, and iNews. They also have 19 pay TV channels. Besides TV, MNC is involved in radio, newspapers, magazines, finding new talents, and making movies or shows. They are a complete media company!

History of MNC Media
MNC Media started on June 17, 1997. Its first name was PT Panca Andika Mandiri.
The company changed its name to PT Media Nusantara Citra on September 12, 2002.
MNC Media's shares became available on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) on June 22, 2007. You can find them under the symbol MNCN. In June 2016, a company called Creador invested in MNC. This helped MNC make more TV shows and improve its free TV services in Indonesia.
Who Owns MNC Media
MNC Media is owned by a company called PT Global Mediacom Tbk. This company used to be known as PT Bimantara Citra Tbk. In turn, MNC Asia Holding owns PT Global Mediacom Tbk. On October 17, 2011, an investment company from Los Angeles, Saban Capital Group, bought a small part of MNC Media.
What MNC Media Does
MNC is the biggest free TV network in Indonesia. They also have three pay TV networks: Indovision, Okevision, and Top TV. These three combined into MNC Vision on December 12, 2017. MNC also owns K-Vision and MNC PLAY. They have a streaming platform called Vision+.
MNC also runs Sindo Media. This includes the Koran Sindo newspaper and the sindonews.com website. They also publish Sindo Weekly Magazine. Other popular websites they own are Okezone, Celebrities.id, and Sportstars.id.
