A Look Back in Time
Meekers Grove once had a one-room schoolhouse. This school was located at 10487 County H, right where County H meets Red School Road. Sadly, the school was struck by lightning in 2000. It caught fire and was later taken down.
Even though the building is gone, you can still see some playground equipment and a small parking lot at the old school's spot today. This school was painted red, and that's how Red School Road got its name!
