The Memorial Civic Center is an awesome place in Campbellton, New Brunswick, Canada. It's a big building where people can play sports, have fun, and hold important meetings. The center first opened its doors in 1992. It is located right in downtown Campbellton, next to the beautiful Restigouche River.
This cool center was built to replace the old Memorial Gardens. The Memorial Gardens was sadly destroyed by a fire in 1990. The Memorial Civic Center is designed to host many different kinds of events. These include exciting sports competitions, fun entertainment shows, and even big trade fairs. It can even provide training facilities for Canada's national sports teams! The center helps people of all ages enjoy sports and stay active.
It is also the home arena for the Campbellton Tigers hockey team. They play their exciting games right here!
What Can You Do at the Civic Center?
The Memorial Civic Center has many great features for everyone to enjoy:

- A 25-meter swimming pool with 8 lanes, also known as a semi-Olympic pool.

- A comfy lounge with 250 seats, where you can watch the action in the main arena. It even has an outdoor patio!
- A large conference room with 400 seats for big meetings and parties.
- Lots of smaller meeting rooms, two multi-purpose rooms, and eight changing rooms.
- A fitness center with weights, aerobics, and other exercise equipment.
- Courts for racquetball and squash games.
