Micah Williams (born November 12, 2001) is an American sprinter. He is known for his incredible speed on the track.

In 2021, his amazing 9.91-second run set an Oregon school record. This helped him become an alternate for the U.S. Olympic team in the 4 × 100 relay at the 2021 Olympics. This achievement got a lot of attention from the media across the country.

Micah also won a gold medal in the 4 × 100 relay at the 2018 IAAF World U20 Championships in Tampere, Finland. In 2022, he ran the 100-meter dash in a very fast 9.83 seconds at the USATF Golden Games. This time was helped a little by the wind.

Early Life and First Races

When Micah Williams was in high school, he worked at Amazon. It's funny because someone there once told him he wasn't fast enough when packing boxes! This was before he became a super-fast runner.

Micah started competing in track and field when he was younger. He took part in the USA Junior Championships several times. In 2015, he finished eighth in the 200-meter race. In 2016, he placed third in the 100-meter and fourth in the 200-meter. He continued to do well, finishing fourth in the 100-meter race in 2018. That same year, he also placed fourth in both the 100-meter and 200-meter races at the OSAA 6A state championships.

Micah's Amazing Career

In 2021, Micah Williams became one of the top college athletes in the 60-meter dash. He ran it in an impressive 6.49 seconds. Before college, while at Benson Polytechnic High School, he was named the Gatorade Oregon Boys' Track and Field Runner of the Year three times. He set a state meet record with a time of 10.42 seconds and achieved the state's fastest-ever 100-meter time at 10.21 seconds.

As of 2022, Micah's best time in the 200-meter dash is 20.05 seconds. Also in 2022, he set a new personal best in the 100-meter dash, running it in just 9.86 seconds.

Starting with the 2023-2024 season, Micah joined the University of Oregon football team. He plays as a wide receiver and wears the number 84.
