Early Basketball Journey
Michael Lee went to Cardinal Newman High School in West Palm Beach. He then played college basketball for four years at St. Bonaventure University. While playing for the Bonnies, he was really good! In his final year, he averaged 17.5 points and 8.0 rebounds per game.
Professional Career Highlights
After college, Michael Lee started his professional basketball career. He wasn't chosen in the 2008 NBA draft, but he still signed with a team in France called Cholet Basket.
Playing in Europe
In 2009, Michael Lee moved to Croatia to play for KK Split. Later that year, he signed with Albacomp in Hungary for the 2009–10 season.
In October 2010, he joined Radnički Kragujevac in Serbia. He was a top scorer there, averaging 19.6 points per game in the Adriatic League.
In July 2011, he signed with BC Donetsk in Ukraine. He even helped them win the Ukrainian League championship in 2012!
NBA Summer League and D-League
In 2012, Michael Lee played for the Sacramento Kings in the NBA Summer League. He played in five games, showing off his skills. After that, he went back to Ukraine to play for Politekhnika-Halychyna.
In 2013, he signed with the Cleveland Cavaliers for a short time. He then joined the Canton Charge in November 2013. In January 2014, he was traded to the Delaware 87ers. These teams are part of the NBA's development league, where players work to get into the main NBA teams.
Return to Europe
In October 2014, Michael Lee signed with SOMB Boulogne-sur-Mer in France. Then, in January 2015, he moved to Szolnoki Olaj in Hungary. He helped them win both the Hungarian League championship and the Hungarian Cup in 2015!
His last team was BCM U Pitești in the Romanian League, where he signed in January 2016.
