Michael Williams, born on July 16, 1961, is a former American football player. He was a running back in the National Football League (NFL). He played for the Philadelphia Eagles and the Atlanta Falcons for three seasons. The Eagles chose him in the fourth round of the 1983 NFL draft. Before playing professionally, he attended Northeast Mississippi Community College and then Mississippi College.

Williams played college football at Northeast Mississippi Community College. He was part of their team from 1979 to 1980. Later, he moved to Mississippi College. He played for the Mississippi College Choctaws from 1981 to 1982.

The Philadelphia Eagles picked Michael Williams in the 1983 NFL draft. He was the 89th player chosen overall in the fourth round. He officially joined the team on May 26, 1983.
Playing for the Philadelphia Eagles
