Michalis Kritikopoulos (born January 3, 1946 – died July 20, 2002) was a famous Greek professional footballer. He was known for playing as a striker, which means he was a player who mainly scored goals.

Michalis Kritikopoulos was born in Kaisariani, Greece. He started playing football for a local team called G.S. Kaisariani in 1962. He was a natural at scoring goals.
In 1964, he joined Ethnikos Piraeus F.C.. He played there for nine seasons, showing off his skills as a striker.
Playing for Olympiacos
In 1973, Michalis moved to Olympiacos, one of Greece's biggest football clubs. He played for Olympiacos until 1980. During his time there, he helped the team win three Alpha Ethniki titles. The Alpha Ethniki was the top football league in Greece. He also won one Greek Football Cup with them.
Michalis finished his playing career with Apollon Athens F.C.. He retired from professional football in 1981 when he was 35 years old. Throughout his career, Michalis Kritikopoulos scored 175 goals in league matches. This made him one of the highest goal-scorers in the history of the Greek league.

Michalis also played for the Greece national team. He played in 28 matches for his country between 1969 and 1977. He scored three goals for the national team. His first game for Greece was a friendly match against Australia on July 19, 1969.
