Michele Sharon Jaffe (born March 20, 1970) is an American writer. She writes many different kinds of books. These include exciting suspense stories and novels for young adults. She also writes historical romance novels.

About Michele Jaffe
Michele Jaffe was born in Los Angeles, California. She went to Harvard University. There, she earned a bachelor's degree in 1991. After that, she worked at the Huntington Library. This is a place for education and research. She later returned to Harvard. In 1998, she earned her Ph.D. in comparative literature.
Her Writing Journey
Michele Jaffe first wrote a book about the Renaissance period. Then, she decided to try writing fiction. Her first fiction book was a romance story. It was also set during the Renaissance. This book, called The Stargazer, came out in 1999. It was the start of a four-book series about history.
Soon, she changed her focus from historical stories. She started writing exciting suspense thrillers. Books like Lover Boy and Bad Girl were published in 2003. These books were full of mystery and suspense.
Books for Young Adults
In 2006, Michele Jaffe wrote her first book for young adults. It was called Bad Kitty. In February of that year, it became the Book of the Month. This was for the Meg Cabot Book Club. The next year, she published Kiss and Tell. This story was part of a collection called Prom Nights from Hell.
In 2008, she wrote Kitty Kitty. This book was a follow-up to Bad Kitty. A graphic novel version, Catnipped, also came out that same year. Her most recent young adult novel is "Rosebush." It was published on December 7, 2010.
