Michelle Chong (born April 22, 1977) is a famous Singaporean actress, comedian, and filmmaker. She is known for being able to play many different characters. She can make you laugh in comedy shows or impress you in serious roles.
In 2011, she left her job at the TV company MediaCorp to start her own businesses. She created a media agency called Left Profile and a movie company called Huat Films. She has written, directed, and produced three popular movies. One of her films, Already Famous, was so good that Singapore chose it to represent the country at the famous Academy Awards in 2013.
Many people also know Michelle from her funny online videos. She created popular characters like "Ah Lian," "Venus Seow," and "Emily 爱美丽" for her YouTube channel, The Michelle Chong Channel.

Early Life and Education
Michelle Chong went to CHIJ St Nicholas Girls' School, Dunman High School, and Victoria Junior College. In junior college, she studied drama and loved it. Her teacher saw her talent and suggested she study at Bates College, a well-known school in the United States, where she studied theatre for a year. She later continued her studies at the National University of Singapore.
