Michelle Knudsen is a super popular American author. She writes amazing books for kids and teens. She's even a New York Times best-selling author!

Michelle has written over 50 books. These include the famous Library Lion, which has won many awards. She also wrote the exciting Trelian fantasy series. For older teens, she wrote the funny and thrilling Evil Librarian books.

She studied writing at Cornell University. Later, she earned a special degree in writing for children and young adults. Today, she teaches other writers at Lesley University.

Michelle Knudsen is a best-selling author. She writes all kinds of books for young people. This includes board books for toddlers, picture books, and novels for middle schoolers and teens.

Her most famous book is the award-winning picture book Library Lion. It has been translated into 14 different languages. Time Magazine even picked it as one of the 100 Best Children's Books of All Time! It's even been turned into a musical in places like Israel and South Africa.

Michelle also wrote the Trelian fantasy series. This series includes The Dragon of Trelian, The Princess of Trelian, and The Mage of Trelian. For young adults, she wrote the Evil Librarian series. The first book in that series won an award for humor in 2015.

Besides writing, Michelle works as an editor. She also teaches writing to others. She is part of the writing faculty at Lesley University. Michelle lives in Brooklyn, New York City.
